So What Do You Do?

So you want a personal painting of your favorite pet or place?  How do you go about getting one?  It starts with a digital photograph from you.

It's very easy to get the ball rolling.  Simply take a digital photo of your subject in the pose you desire.  If possible, take the photograph outside on an overcast day.  Don't worry about the background, or if a finger or hand is in the photo.  The important thing is for me to clearly see the features of your pet or the characteristics of your favorite subject. 

What's Next?

First thing to do is e-mail me the photo.  Once I receive your picture(s) I will contact you to discuss specifics for your painting.  Preferred pose, possible background colors and other particulars will be worked out at that time.  Once we agree on what you want, I will begin work on you portrait right away. 

Once I have finished the portrait, I will e-mail you a scan for you approval and any changes you may desire.  If, at that time, you accept the scan, I will ask you to forward payment, including a nominal fee for packaging and postage.  I will then return the finished product to you.
